Partners

Thank you to our partners

Tourism Industry Aotearoa would like to thank the following partners for their generous support of Tourism Summit Aotearoa.

Tourism New Zealand is responsible for promoting New Zealand as a visitor destination. They target visitors from a range of key markets across the world. Once here, it’s important our visitors have a great experience, so they also guide them on travelling safely and caring for our home, people and culture.

Air New Zealand has a proud history as New Zealand’s national carrier, enriching our nation by connecting New Zealanders to each other and New Zealand to the world. From the moment customers step onboard, they experience Kiwi hospitality, world-class safety, and a uniquely New Zealand journey. With an extensive international and domestic network and as a member of the Star Alliance, Air New Zealand plays a key role in supporting tourism’s growth and making it simple and seamless for visitors from around the globe to discover the best of New Zealand.

Partridge Advisory is proud to partner with TIA to deliver tailored, expert insurance solutions to tourism businesses across Aotearoa. They combine deep sector knowledge with a full-service approach, working alongside tourism operators like you to ensure you’re protected in an increasingly complex risk environment.

The Tourism Industry New Zealand Trust (TINZT) was established in 2007 for charitable purposes for the education of people involved in the New Zealand tourism industry and the education of all persons in New Zealand on matters relating to or for use in the tourism industry in New Zealand, and the fostering and promotion of a tourism industry in New Zealand based on the sustainable use and preservation of New Zealand’s natural assets.

Operating since 1902, the Wellington Cable Car is New Zealand’s oldest funicular railway. This vibrant red icon carries over one million passengers a year on a five-minute journey from Lambton Quay to the Kelburn lookout, rising 120m above the city through light-filled tunnels. At the summit, passengers can enjoy breathtaking views of Wellington’s harbour and hills, along with easy access to the Botanic Garden, Cable Car Museum, Space Place, and Zealandia.

Westpac's team of tourism specialists provide the full suite of banking products and services across New Zealand. Thanks to this industry focus we can meet the specific needs of operators in the sector. We are excited to continue supporting tourism in Aotearoa, as we collectively look forward to a brighter future.
