What do you do at TIA?
I am the Executive Assistant supporting our Chief Executive and leadership team. I enjoy the variety that comes with the role, from coordinating governance processes to supporting key projects and helping keep our organisation running smoothly. I’m passionate about building strong relationships, solving problems and creating practical solutions that make life easier for others.
What's your career background?
I moved to Wellington 7 years ago with my family, from Cape Town. Having worked for many years in professional services (legal and accounting), I am very excited to have now joined the tourism industry. I am loving this new chapter in my career and it’s a privilege to work alongside such a dedicated team and contribute to an industry that plays such an important role in Aotearoa.
What do you do for fun?
For fun I love walking in the gorgeous New Zealand nature, reading (anything with a psychological twist is my favourite!), art and painting, and hanging out with my two children. My husband and I love trying out Wellington restaurants and I’ve made it my goal to visit each and every Wellington based Michelin starred/selected restaurant. A day trip to Martinborough is my ideal weekend activity as I am an avid wine enthusiast!
Do you have any pets or fur babies?
I have three rescue cats named Daisy, Tabitha and Emmy and they keep my family very entertained with their three distinct personalities and quirky traits.
