New Zealand’s premier international tourism business event, TRENZ, returns from 19–21 May in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland hosted at the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC). Bringing together tourism operators and global buyers for three days of high-value networking and trade.
This year, TRENZ will welcome travel buyers from 27 countries, with more than 1,200 delegates expected to attend. Across the three days, over 16,000 business meetings will take place, creating meaningful opportunities to build relationships, secure partnerships, and grow international visitation.
New for 2026 is the International Media Marketplace (IMM), which will see leading international journalists travel to New Zealand to experience the destination firsthand. Their presence will help amplify New Zealand’s tourism story on a global stage, reaching audiences around the world and further strengthening Aotearoa’s position as a must-visit destination.
