In advance of the expected El Niño weather pattern - which has the potential to drive a variety of extreme weather events across our upcoming summer – TIA has launched a 'Summer Readiness' Guide for members.

This guide contains information about El Niño and its potential impact on New Zealand, focussing on regional priorities for tourism operators and visitor impacts.

The guide also looks at how operators can be 'summer ready' by being prepared for an emergency, how to mitigate increased heat, rain and storm impacts from El Niño – and how to reduce fire risks for your business.
